From the already distant and mythical cemetery of forgotten books, from Ruiz Zafon, the libraries recovered a legendary point, evoking perhaps the remote library of Alexandria. And it is that the knowledge and the imagination summarized of the books on paper has that I do not know what of durability; of magical spaces between shelves; of backs and decks capable of undertaking flights to new worlds; of the smell of old paper like ambrosia for the intellect. Nothing digital can even dream of that fullness ...

Laura Loire is an antiquarian bookseller that is about to close the sale of a manuscript of Dante's Divine Comedy Inferno with which she hopes to save her business. At the time of the operation, he discovers that his valuable book has been stolen and that there is a crude copy in its place.

She is convinced that Pol, her ex-boyfriend, a white-collar thief, is involved. However, shortly after, he discovers that this is part of the passenger list of a plane that has had an accident in Barajas.

All this means that both she and Marcos, Pol's old mentor in the world of bibliophilia, remember the young man and that we know the details of the difficult relationship between the bookseller and the thief, while she tries, at the same time, to find out what happened to the Inferno Loire, the manuscript of the Divine Comedy that belonged to his family.

When a mysterious man demands from Laura a notebook written by Einstein, containing dangerous information, to return the Inferno Loire, everything rushes towards a frenzied resolution full of surprises. But what nobody knows is that the missing manuscript also hides an incredible secret.

An addictive action and adventure novel, full of knowledge and revelations, that brings us closer to a fascinating world, that of ancient book collectors, that crosses times and places.

  1. Your commentary is three interesting, more translations without automatic doute that present the qualities meritorious cependant of these improvements on deux points:
1 le titre de l œuvre tout d abord non encore traduite en français sauf erreur… devrait être pour le moins «la libraire et le voleur».
    2 review the personnel pronouns.

    Kind regards.

Nb a fan of Spanish literature who is reading La Librera y el Ladrón.
