The idea of a more "sophisticated" colonization with specific constructions to house life has always been a solution read in ci-fi novels. And Mars has been that planet on which many of these novels have been developed.
In the case of this book Snow on Mars, we have already overcome the colonization stage and we find ourselves in a meta-urban (taking advantage of the fact that the meta prefix has been carried so long) located on the so-called red planet. And through this fascinating setting, León Miranda is taking us as if nothing had happened, led naturally, making us really live the futuristic experience.
But Leon is not there at all. Very relevant issues demand it. These are moments of special significance that require great secrecy. Scenarios from here and there, straddling the Earth that León leaves behind and the mysterious planet where he has gone to play a very special role.
