There are places like Nice whose luster seems to have always existed and never been extinguished. Cities dedicated to luxury, ostentation and the refuge of great patrimonies. Among the palaces and lavish hotels of Nice this story moves.

The protagonist is Linton Blint, an English guy without much fitting in this dazzling city during the 60's. A decade in which the great Mediterranean city moved between its inexhaustible luxury, the boom in fashion, art and festivities, setting aside the memory, yes, of grayer times of old Europe bled to death in various conflicts of the twentieth century.

It almost always happens that the strange, the anomalous does not end up leading to anything good. Linton's appearance at the sumptuous Negresco Hotel puts him in the wrong place at the wrong time. Without eating or drinking it, Linton Blint finds himself immersed in a singular action plot where he has no choice but to act to save his life.

The gigantic entanglement, which increases with each of Mr Blint's movements, moves between humor and confusion and a certain point of intrigue to know how a story condemned to the most bizarre of endings can end.

But it is already known that humor, at the service of a plot of mystery or intrigue, gives a lot of itself to fit ingenious twists and hilarious situations, at the same time that evil is looming over our protagonist friend.

Between coincidences, bad or good fortune and the confrontation with all kinds of characters and situations, Linton will end up forging the image of the hero capable of dismantling an entire criminal organization ..., in the best of cases. Or perhaps what happens is that he ends up being expelled from the city.

A novel to entertain and enjoy, a well-linked and cleverly resolved plot.
