At book In the wild We accompany ten captive women without really knowing why they are like this. They just wander around at the command of their master's voice.
Complementary flashes of what those ten women were until the present fateful scenario, seem to seek a justification for their deplorable current state. They were normal women, integrated into the wheel of today, adjusted to patterns, standards and fashions ...
The conclusions can be reached at the end of the novel, but along the way we are already glimpsing the idea of the writer, which is none other than drawing normal profiles of any woman in today's society, of the still marked differences between male roles and feminine, of the anticipated sentence that can suppose not to reach certain expectations.
If women are more exposed to these risks of modern slavery, it is something that I am not going to assess, but it is true that labels are always more difficult to remove in their case. Perhaps from fiction it is better understood, or it can be empathized in a better way. A dramatic, insane fantasy, hyperbole about women and their adverse circumstances.
Interesting proposal that offers a new point of view while posing, strictly plot, a suggestive thriller. What will become of those ten women drugged and transferred to a remote space? What do they really face in their ignominious captivity?

Hello, Juan, I have been following you for some time… you really think the background of the novel is “to draw normal profiles of any woman in today's society, of the still marked differences between male and female roles, of the anticipated condemnation that can assuming not meeting certain expectations ”. Or perhaps it could refer to a critique more oriented to the role constructed for women in interaction with society and that would come out if none of that were present, I say this because of the content and the title of the book, of course there is much more behind the thriller, that scares ... There are profiles understood as normal that, in this society of ours, turn out to be an authentic thriller, yes.
