Bradley Cooper's 3 Best Movies

A face of a horny guy, of a colleague with whom to go out for a few drinks and finish at midnight. In his friendly appearance he reminds me a little of Ryan Reynolds, with whom I have a strange relationship as a spectator because he reminds me of a friend from youthful fatigues….

But come on, because of the good vibes that Cooper transmits, and already concentrating on what is strictly interpretive, this actor may falter in some interpretations of dark characters that are so popular in current cinema and that he has attempted at some time.

So better when he plays good, when he addresses comedy or fantasy and also when he puts in drama, which is no small thing... because they would like to convey as much as the Cooper loser of some of his most memorable characters.

Bradley Cooper was born on January 5, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter.

The alley of lost souls

AVAILABLE HERE:

I do not know why. But this is a title that evokes me Ruiz Zafon. It will be because of the balance between the tangible and the unattainable with melancholic overtones. The point is that also in this story we go back to a time past but almost achievable from some old photo or newspaper. That past achievable by the memory of our grandparents where everything is mist and a slight touch of color barely noticeable between the mists and grays of those tough and harsh days.

Guillermo del Toro dares this time with a remake. Only in his long career he knows how to exploit new resources to get more out of the original idea. There is much of Robin Hood to empathize with in the adventure of the rogues who are looking for their lives trying to steal some of the good star that always accompanies the rich.

The point is that the issue can always be twisted when once it goes well and persists in new attempts. Until the matter is darkened by ambition, deception ... the perfect setting for the director to provide that extra disturbing drift. A film born slowly due to changes of letters in the cast of actors (perhaps that is why two Guillermo del Toro films were brought together between 2021 and 2022.

With Bradley Cooper leading the cast and with those very plausible emotions that good old Bradley transmits to charge the fantasy of the movie with something more, the plot is perfect.

A star has been born

AVAILABLE HERE:

Embarrassingly epic moments like when Jackson Maine (Cooper under his skin) pisses on stage because he's singing. A humanization from a ridiculous point that could only be equated to the slap of Will Smith in those Oscars...

As one star goes out another comes on. This is true in the balance of the Universe and in all areas. Only in this movie the falling star (like the fallen angel) coincides in time, form and relationship with the rising star as the brightest of all. At times something similar to the hint of melancholy at the end of La La Land…

The good side of things

AVAILABLE HERE:

Pat Solitano is a man who has just been released from a psychiatric hospital. Pat is determined to get his wife back, but she is already dating another man. Pat befriends Tiffany Maxwell, a woman with mental health issues. Tiffany helps Pat get his life back on track.

The meeting is explosive and implosive. Because everything is restructured in the characters' environment but also in their inner core. Chaos reorganizing itself after the big bang in search of emotional order. With their frenetic comings and goings, full of humor but also a certain acidity, we accompany Pat and Tiffany in a tragicomedy of modern everyday life.
