Urgent causes, by Paula Leonor Rodríguez

A central nucleus on which the plots are woven as in a sinuous evolution between the predestined and the most absolute chance capable of changing everything. An interesting idea to compose a novel between the Black and the suspense that arouses in us that feeling that coincidences, even the worst, can offer the most unsuspected causalities.

Around a major incident, all eyes are focused on the events themselves as much as on the particularities, on the anecdotes that further humanize the disaster. But beyond the general upheaval, the events, the before and after, are enshrined as unexpected opportunities for some or as revelations for others.

And there is also a lot to investigate beyond the technical details that could cause the accident. Thus, little by little we try to elucidate other dark aspects in parallel to what the general public discovers with dismay. Comings and goings before the tragic turning point so that we can't stop reading for unsuspected truths.

A train that comes from the suburbs to Buenos Aires suffers an accident. In the count of the victims, two of the forty-three people who were traveling on the train are missing, including Hugo Lamadrid, an alleged murderer who takes advantage of the situation to escape from the police. While the entire country awaits the DNA results in front of the television, a woman and her daughter, faced with a great dilemma, flee without looking back.

Amid the endless questions, denunciations and hypocrisies that flood the media, Osvaldo Domínguez, a workaholic police inspector, tries to find Lamadrid's whereabouts. Although he holds a record in homicide resolution, he is starting this case off on the wrong foot. Until he decides to break the rules to show that dying is the best way to escape the system.
