Sometimes the return to the most typical novels with a start and end in a single installment (even more so after endless sagas) ends up being a success, a resounding 10 for this story that, moreover, misleads a bit in terms of its consideration. as usual romantic story.

Is not that Elisabet benavent has escaped from the genre to other types of settings, but the truth is that the motorhome trip of the gang of friends in this story has something of special connotation, beyond the simple idea of the bachelorette party that underpins the plot. I do not know if it is because of that easy characterization with which each one chooses his character, his reflection in history (personally, I am left with Coco, the main protagonist); or if it is that touch of adventure that seems to script the plot far above love affairs, heartbreak and other matters of the heart.

Or perhaps it is precisely that, the adventure (also with its troubles when it comes to discovering others) is what finally reaches the heart. Some traveling friends enjoy but they also have their moments of confrontation (a motorhome does not provide the necessary living space, even if it is assumed that it is a one-off roaming). And at times we face the tension of friendship faced with its most unexpected details ...

But beyond the friction, the positive flavor remains, and we even found some hot touch, subtly introduced (pun intended) so that our horny minds also have those doses of passion between the unexpected of a road without a clear horizon.

However, the best of all is the treatment of friendship, of that ideal that we sometimes trample on, underestimate or abandon. On a trip, coexistence guides us towards a much stronger friendship, like transhumant souls who feel like they belong to the same tribe. And that is where that magic of authentic brotherhood is born without our usual conditions of life. Understand: limited time, daily envies and other buts ... I do not mean that the narrative leads us to an idealized friendship. As I have already anticipated, lies and tensions will also appear among the travelers on this unique journey, but in the end characters like Coco or Marín seek to put everything back together ...

A novel that extends over many pages to savor at times, to turn this novel into a bedside book for many days. A story that manages to gather great emotions and intense sensations around love, friendship and also the crudest lies, while the world is changing beyond the windows of the motorhome.
