La speed with which Shari lapena build your home thrillers it does not detract from the quality of its frames. More than anything because she is the queen of this subgenre where personal relationships from the family cradle the worst nightmares, that suspense that makes us look around in search of some discordant aspect, of something threatening in our daily world, of sudden stridency like an annoying background noise.

Because reading Shari we discover that everything can be, that no one is free of suspicion. What had been the traditional saying of "don't trust your father", the Canadian version.

With his already strenuous effort and resolute ability to face doubts about appearances, Lapena is not original in the starting budget but he is in the resolution. Because certainly the husband (or wife) with that past that peeks the dark leg under the door is even hackneyed as the foundation of a thriller. The question is knowing how to discover the turn. And as you can imagine after other puzzling novels by this great narrator, all the budgets and other mental straws that you can mount will end up disassembled until you are speechless ...
