Synopsis

In January 1989, a seven-year-old girl was abducted north of Tokyo. The parents never learned the identity of the kidnapper. Nor did they see their daughter again. Code name of the case: Six Four.

More than a decade later, the police press chief is forced to go back to the event, the stigma of which has not faded over time: the failure of the investigation continues to be a source of scandal. But the veteran Mikami no longer aspires to solve the crime, he only wants to reach out to the victim's family and contribute in some way to cleaning up the body's reputation. However, after detecting an irregularity in the file, Mikami will end up revealing the motive for a crime that contains unimaginable secrets.
