The phenomenon Maria Dueñas it was a whole emergence of novelists devoted to the cause of the recent past, between the nineteenth century or even the nostalgic of the first twentieth century (I dare not say twenty-mononic). But when the real one, the precursor in Spain of all that recent epic of our ancestors made young faced with wars and a thousand avatars, when She returns, the foundations of the genre are shaken.

The time between seams it was that starting point that swept everything away. From there we reach out again to some of its characters and we are once again carried away by the passionate story right where our imagination left it. Because great stories always have that last fresh page in their memory ...

Sira's leading role is already in itself an anthology of the feminine. And her life and work serve as that elevated example from fiction to the heroism of feminist vindication from all possible perspectives. Because together with Sira we inhabit the contrarierades of a woman in search of her destiny in the face of everything.

Synopsis

The second great war has come to an end and the world is undergoing a tortuous rebuilding. After her duties as a British secret service collaborator, Sira faces the future with a desire for serenity. It will not succeed, however. Fate will have a tragic misadventure prepared for her that will force her to reinvent herself, take the reins of her life alone and fight with fierceness to direct the future.

Between commitments, intrigues and historical events that will mark an era, Jerusalem, London, Madrid and Tangier will be the scenarios through which it passes. In them she will face tears and reunions, risky commitments, deep feelings and the experience of motherhood. Sira Bonnard (formerly Sira Quiroga, formerly Arish Agoriuq) is no longer the innocent seamstress who dazzled us with patterns and clandestine messages, but her appeal remains intact. Sira is back, charismatic and unforgettable.
