Subtitled Breathing method.

As I have already pointed out on some other occasion, the link that unites «Hope, eternal spring","Summer of Corruption","The autumn of innocence« and this last installment is a rope that is thrown into the well of the human soul, where instincts and responses lie outside of all convention.

The need for revenge or simply the last beat towards survival, the essence of evil, fear, the most intense friendship ... all these motives and attitudes are born as basic drives extracted from a well where we do not always want or can access. It is a dark place that links us with the animal essence, capable of the best or the worst but always from the instincts, nothing rational ...

In this latest novel we enjoy one of those stories that sound like a thriller from the moment they start. A group of wealthy people, great professionals from different fields make up a particular society limited to new invited and selected partners.

Between all of them they gloat about their big business and their social status, they drink, play cards and work networking.

Club meetings always have a sinister air, even alienating. The echoes of its characters invite you to run away from there and that is precisely why it keeps you trapped in that brilliant King-like driving that already hints at something that squeaks among the splendor of the club.

Members enjoy a particular event such as a meeting in which lurid or strange stories are told. And that is where our lawyer friend knows the story of an old doctor, and of a strange birth that he attended. Only that the story ends up marking him by some details that he cannot ignore.

A horror novel, disturbing in its first-person exposition and that ends up offering an ending like few other horror stories you have ever read.
