Are eBooks worth it?

Let's take a parenthesis between review and review to address an interesting aspect of literature in this XNUMXst century.

Every reader's old dilemma. Read on paper or on ebook? Both reading systems are compatible in a singular coexistence in the homes of readers from all over the world.

Because some have the ebook and no longer correct a physical book, while others have their digital reader (that gift that every reader ends up getting), forgotten in the drawer. Of course, there are also those who refuse digital under the conviction of the authenticity of paper as a natural support for literature.

Then there are the collectors, maintainers of impressive domestic libraries that fill their owners with pride, bibliophiles who enjoy and make their guests enjoy with rooms full of all kinds of volumes ...

The last question is the concept already indicated initially, compatibility. I don't think it is a struggle between print and digital. Publishers offer their copies in both media and each one enjoys it in their own way. And of course, if it is simply to read, digital is always cheaper.

The statistics of the use of some or other formats are misleading. You can find studies that indicate very high percentages of readers in digital and other later ones that lower the percentages to almost equal.

Thus, the question of whether it is worth going to the ebook, or at least having it as a reading option, is something that we should all be open to. Because when it comes to the action of reading, we find great advantages:

  • Comfort - handling: On the couch, on the train or in bed, handling a digital book is a liberation. With just one hand, with hardly any weight, without having to worry about holding the page in progress ... All are advantages in this regard.
  • Use - reading: The screens of current ebooks and their display systems are studied to make reading natural. A good ebook is a self-adjusting page to the different general light states. No problems of exposure to glare and led lights. If for something these devices have been created and individualized independently of tablets and others, it is to minimize the impact of the screen on vision. It is the same as reading on paper for these purposes.
  • Availability: Being able to take thousands of books anywhere is a great advantage to free up a suitcase and to indulge in the reading of any author. Because the autonomy of ebooks is fascinating, hours, days, weeks ...

Of course, the growing world of ebooks offers a multitude of possibilities and designs. One of the most sought after brands is the famous Amazon Kindle.

Amazon, the distribution giant, has been improving version after version and has also been gaining market with that fashion point of accessories that it customizes to the consumer's taste. Every kindle reader has essential elements such as the Kindle Paperwhite cases to personalize your digital library.

The alternatives enrich. The options are open and the possibility of choice must always be there, as an action that is not exclusive per se but is absolutely compatible.
