For me there is something unknown in friendship relationships between women. Beyond the soporific labels that speak of these female friendship circles (or any other aspect supposedly exclusive by sex), as spaces that are very different from encounters between men, it is true that from my perspective as a man, it was suggestive. the idea of reading a novel by a woman about those friendships between women.

And I got to it. At book Life is wednesday, who meet those Wednesdays are Eva, Marina and Susana. Three good old friends who have shared almost everything until those close to forty studs that appear at three with a certain feeling of vertigo.

Their lives have taken very different paths, and their personalities differ extremely. They are united by that bomb-proof friendship, a singular connection that enables an interaction from the diversity of their vital planes. In them we discover that stark contrast in the evolution of all good friendships, from the original authenticity to that kind of competition to see which of them enjoys a better life (finally it is only a question of one's own judgment in front of the deformed mirror of what we pretend to be)

As Eva, Marina and Susana get to know, through appointments, emails, messages and all those daily communication channels, perhaps the reader will also recognize himself in that social masked ball, an interesting perspective completed with the interesting fiction of lives in full tightrope between reality and appearance.

Friendship, truths and lies, betrayals and broken dreams, wishes and hopes. A reality of our own moves in this interesting novel that, after all, beyond its strictly female representation, it portrays all of us. It could not be less for an author like Mariela Michelle, an expert psychologist.
