It never hurts to do a historical review from a more feminist perspective. After centuries of completely silenced voices, it is time to review many moments to complete the scenarios that led us here.

But come on, you don't have to go back to the Middle Ages to find debts with the role of women ...

Celia Santos has only had to scratch in the recent 60s, emblem of freedom and social revolutions in Europe, (except in Spain, of course), to find a fascinating story about the female figure represented in many Spanish women who had They had to leave their homes on their way to Germany, that great country that received emigrants for its unstoppable productive machine.

From generality to detail. All part of Ana and her story. A chill of doubts must have run through her the day she left her town behind for the exotic name of Colonia, one of the four largest cities in the Teutonic country.

Ana had a feeling that nothing was going to be easy. But the strongest will in the face of any sum of fears always ends up prevailing. For Ana it was either that or nothing, it was escape and find a destination or plunge into nothingness.

The story is the responsibility of Cora, the young woman who many years later will discover in Ana that paradigm from which to project her experiences towards the universality of the example.

Because Ana lived it all, the frustration, the despair, the determination, the class struggle, even the love ...

To be able to exclaim: I have lived! You must have taken life as an affront to your destiny, as an intention to find your place. Ana did so. And in the end the example, the feminist intention of the story ends up reaching much further and becomes a complete vindication of the human being, of the struggle that makes you a worthy being.

We all know the family member, friend or neighbor who tells us about their experiences in that Europe yearning for cheap labor. Emigrating was never easy. And perhaps thinking about it brings us closer to current dramatic situations ...
