A title that evokes intimacy, some magical friction in a shared pillow that serves to awaken contrasts. Because deep down we find a crude novel in which every kindly everyday sound ends up being erased forever.

Dawns on the three thousand houses, Seville, one of the most dangerous suburbs in Europe. From the evangelical church, cordoned off by the riot police, the forensic anatomical workers emerge pushing a stretcher with the tortured and mutilated body of a young woman.

La Inspector Perpetua Carrizo, in charge of the investigation (and responsible for another search, for life or death, which does not appear in any registry), he enters the neighborhood, before the worried gesture of his companions. Set Santiago, a lawyer who, after serving five years in prison, survives thanks to the official shift and making collections for a lender, must take care of the defense of the alleged murderer facing Sacramento, the lawyer who exercises the Particular Accusation.

A brilliant scenic look and a set of characters with great narrative power complete a devilish gear that moves between Seville and Ciudad Juárez, and is set against decades of unsolved femicides, sweatshops, drug supermarkets and a lot of moral ambiguity. In the shadow of the "muló", the specter of the gypsies, who comes to life to resolve pending accounts.

Juan Ramón Biedma, author recognized with the main noir novel awards, has won the XXI Fernando Quiñones Unicaja Novel Prize for "The sound of your hair", the most detective and fatally romantic of his narratives.
