Aitana Sánchez Gijón always had something. I just saw this movie and I see that they maintain that I don't know what charisma that goes between her physical gifts and something beyond her gaze. She accompanies her to the other side of the ring, an unknown to me Cumelén Sanz. An actress who balances the film on the other side with a youth led to a challenging, irreverent, energetic performance to any extreme.
Between the two they cook and eat this story of existential harmony between souls that end up becoming hair-raising misunderstandings. At times it seems that a strange love between maternal or lesbian matures between them. Beatriz welcomes her employee with open arms. Sofia is very smart and daring.
As both come together in the spiral of their shared existence, we enjoy a touch of missed romanticism like Cinderella that finally convinces her stepmother. By then the thing has even a point of sweetness. The question in these scenes is knowing how to maintain a point of intrigue that can range from elements of the plot (a suspicious look) to the background music that breaks appearances into a thousand pieces. A success the musical selection without a doubt...
The third in contention is Sofía's boyfriend, separated from the vital plot that has united boss and employee far beyond the employment relationship. Because Sofía loves her boyfriend very much, but before her there is one of those inalienable dilemmas that lead to her most dreamed of or surely most obsessed success.
And pulling from obsessions we then also find the manias of the boss, Beatriz. Because without telling us much about her past, we glimpse her fears of loneliness, possible personal failures sprinkled like drops of blood on the path of professional success.
So they are both soul mates located at opposite poles. The thing is that the two would like to place themselves in the opposite position. Sofía would want to be Beatriz and Beatriz would want to be Sofía. The youth or the glory and luxury of a successful business woman.
To advance more in the plot is to gut the argument. The question is to address paradigmatic aspects of today's women in society to break them into a thousand pieces towards a situation of maximum tension. The heavens open up where you can peer into the most unfathomable abysses. Above them, Beatriz and Sofía hope to fulfill their darkest dreams...
