The American Writer Harlan coben It is one of those that best summarizes police with black, suspense with that kind of deduction that involves the reader in the resolution of the plot. So any of his novels always ensures that mix that can convince all types of readers on the spectrum of the criminal narrative (Except for purists of both extremes who all know little about it).

This time Coben peers into the domestic thriller captained by the canadian Shari lapena. That scenography where the ominous happens from the inside with a clearly voyeuristic and morbid claim. So the novel cocktail is served and waiting to be tasted at its exact point by lovers of total novels.

Simon considers himself a happy man until his eldest daughter, Paige, became a drug addict and left her family. So far, all attempts to retrieve it have been unsuccessful. However, her father persists in his search and finds out that some days she plays guitar in Central Park. When they meet again there, Paige runs off and Aaron, the young man responsible for dragging the girl down into hell, suddenly gets in the way of Simon.

Three months later, someone murders Aaron and Paige remains unaccounted for. The reasons for their escape are much more complex than Simon suspects.
