I was encouraged by this book because I like dangerous love stories. And something like that I saw was advertised on the back cover. The colonial setting in Havana and the touch of adventure of a guy named Patricio who dares to do the americas of the 50s, ended up convincing me.

After a few pages, you already enjoy the future of this character who is finding his place thanks to his gift of people. The Cuban capital is presented to him as a true paradise of prosperity where he can channel his ambitions and awaken projects under the protection of El Encanto, the commercial company where you start working.

From being a nobody with a little concrete past in postwar Spain to acquiring the touch of someone distinguished in a matter of a few pages, while the author gives us a walk through a city intoxicated with light, friendly characters and the good life.

But then love appears, represented in the figure of Gloria, a fascinating young woman who ends up taking away our friend Patricio's will. The greater the difficulty of a love, it always happens that the greater intensity is granted. Patricio and Gloria suffer from furtive love, from the impossible that supposes an adultery of the time, with the corresponding horns to one of the most powerful and dangerous men on the island.

The light of Havana then begins to cast shadows on Patricio's life. A feeling of imminent and continuous risk approaches the young adventurer, who will have to face the situation with great care because his life and that of Gloria herself will be in danger.

At Lóleo Eventos, novel The charmo One thing happens to you as a reader, a singular process.
