In the absence of renowned intelligence agencies, such as CIA, MI6 or KGB, at the end of the 50s Spain saw the birth of two of its most sought-after agents for lost causes and wrongs with the greatest international repercussion. They were none other than Mortadelo and Filemón.

In the shadow of agent 007, born a few years earlier under the fictional cover of MI6, Francisco Ibáñez thought that a spy comic with a Spanish quixotic touch could stand up to James Bond or any other secret agent.

The agency to which Mortadelo and Filemón were subscribed was the TIA, and the secretary Ofelia, Super or Professor Bacterio worked there, with special consideration to the latter, who also included agents Mortadelo and Filemón from avant-garde defense technology systems, attack and communication.

The grotesque was served. With each new comic that came to our houses, back in the 80s and 90s, the typical humor of the parody roared with laughter for any reader who had time to devote to the fortunes and misadventures of the most outlandish secret agents in the sphere. international world.

It is not that I usually stop a lot in the news of the comic world, not for nothing, but because I have no more time. But the occasion deserves it. This one comes home yes or yes.

A new issue for nostalgic people, where the plot points to a total empathy with those of us who were young but now, with our little or big ailments, we can discover that the same thing happens with Mortadelo and Filemón.

Neither does the Super, nor the crazy Bacterio nor the flirtatious Ofelia escape the passage of time. Decades later our heroes of humor return completely in tune with the times.

It will be worth immersing yourself in reading this special issue 182. Guaranteed laughter, a good time to spend and even to share with one of our little ones. Who knows, maybe a good comic can be used to reconnect parents and children thanks to the magic of humor ...
